Our Philosophy and Commitment


The name “中朴” (Zhōng Pǔ) draws on the wisdom of classical Chinese philosophy and embodies our professional ethos and core values.

“中” (Zhōng) originates from the Doctrine of the Mean, which teaches that “the noble person adapts to changing circumstances while remaining centered and balanced.” It reflects our commitment to maintaining harmony, sound judgment, and equilibrium amid complexity and change.

“朴” (Pǔ) is rooted in the Tao Te Ching, which urges one to “be like a valley to the world, where true virtue resides—returning to a state of unadorned simplicity.” It signifies a return to authenticity and an enduring pursuit of moral integrity and intrinsic value.

Our English name, Veriton, is derived from the Latin veritas (truth) and the suffix -ton (foundation), symbolizing a foundation of truth. This concept resonates deeply with the ancient Roman legal tradition, which holds that truth is the root of justice.
